Primarily The Chemicals used in this tank are ESV with a few exceptions.

Calcium*
Calcium is provided by a combination of Kent Marine Turbo Calcium and ESV KalkWasser

Iodine*
Iodine is provided by an ESV Potassium Iodide Solution. Typically dosed in a 1.5 to 2X dose

Strontium*
Strontium is provided by Kent Marines Turbo Strontium Mixed to a double strength Solution.
This I find works very very well for the growth of coralline algae.

Fluoride*
Fluoride is provided by ESV Bromide Fluoride. This additive has not been tested for any length of time, but during its use I could definitely see new bright white growths on my corals. at least this was in the 55. We will see how it fares in the 125.

Trace Elements*
Trace Elements are provided by a combination of Kent Marines Coral Vite and Essential Elements. On occasion Kent Marines chelated Iron and Manganese supplements will be used. This of course varies as to how much macro algae is in the tank.

Buffering*
Buffering is done by either ESV carbonate buffer, or Kent Marine Superbuffer DKH, which ever is available to me at the time.

ESV and KENT, if you are listening, I will abandon the competitor should you decide to donate a 1 year supply. ;-)
