The Tank*
is a 125 Gallon. I'm not sure who makes the tank, there are no distinguishing markings except for a small inscription on the right and bottom corner of the frame. I will update the page with that info as soon as my eyes get better. :)

The Stand*
The stand is a typical pine stand with the exception that there are 6 legs rather than 2x4 runners around the bottom. So far it seems to be very sturdy. We will see as time progresses and more rock gets added.

Protein Skimmer*
The Protein Skimmer is a TurboFlotor 1000. I had this baby working on a 55 and it did an excellent job. Even though this skimmer is rated for 200 gallons, I'm sure this skimmer will be working overtime. At least for the first few months till things get settled.

Water Top Off*
Water Top Off is accomplished by a LifeReef Float switch which controls an air pump. If you look in the DIY section, you will see a picture of the contraption that I use. It actually works very well. However, now that the tank is larger, I may need to move to a 5 gallon bucket and a powerhead.

Water Pump*
The water pump is an Iwaki MD20RLXT. This pump has a 1" in and 1" out set of fittings on the volute.

The OverfLow*
The overflow used to be a standard generic overflow rated at 300 gallons an hour. I have since replaced this unit with a CPR CS-100. This unit has a flow rate of 800 GPH. The GPH was not the concern in replacing this unit. The noise and reliability were the major factors involved. However, I do find that even with AquaClear 802's, it is hard to pull the air out of the overflow when a check valve is added to the air removal line.

Wave Maker*
The Wave Maker is an Ocean Motion. This unit controls up to 4 powerheads. It supports sequential 1234 operation. Random, and Multi Random. This is really a cool wave maker. Well worth the 150 clams. Many thanks to Janet at Janet's Reef for the switch settings to this wavemaker.
Powerheads are as follows. On each end located in the back, there are 2 AquaClear 802's pointing to the front center of the glass. In the center, spaced 1.5 feet apart, are 2 powersweep powerheads. The wavemaker is set to 1 minute multi-random operation.

Lighting*
Lighting is provided by 4 110 watt VHO's powered by an IceCap 660 Ballast. This is the same setup I used to have over my 55 Gallon. This may make it a bit more challenging to keep Clams and SPS, but if I see that an upgrade is needed, I will either add 2 96 watt PC's or 2 more 110 watt VHO's. However preliminarily this config looks like it will need no changes. there is approximately 3.5 watts per gallon. They are staggered as such thanks to a suggestion by my wife:

-------------------- (actinic)
--------------------(daylight)
--------------------(daylight)
--------------------(actinic)

The Sump*
-The sump is a Rubbermaid 22 gallon tub. Seen here. I have drilled 2 1 1/3" holes for the bulkheads. One for the pump and one for the return from the tank. I have constructed a housing for mechanical filtration using 3 large pieces of egg crate, and 2 small pieces of egg crate for stabilizing legs. I then took some plastic gutter shielding, and created the ends of the filter media housing. I used some standard blue bonded filter media to trap particulates in the water. This setup seems to do a very good job. You can see a fairly good shot of it here.
