O.k. So as you may recall, i was going to go with either a 12 JBJ nano-cube or an acrylic 40. I went with neither. I decided to go for a glass 40. After careful consideration, i decided that i did not want to plumb the tank. I have this really nasty habit of becoming paranoid when it comes to the work that ive done myself. I can deal with that but the wife cant. She doesnt like the idea of being home bound.
So this tank will be a closed loop system. all accessories will be H.O.B or internal.
The setup is as follows:

| Nice Pine Stand. Pre-stained and urethaned |
| BakPak 2R Skimmer (will perform the maxi upgrade as money allows) |
| Spare AquaClear 300 with sponges for mechanical filtration |
| Hamilton ReefSun 175W with 12K sunburst (i really like the look of this bulb, but it just doesn't have the lumen output) |
| LifeReef Float Switch for water topoffs run by a Tetra Luft. |
The tank was setup on 8/20 with:
40 lbs of Natures Ocean Bio-Active live sand
35 Gallons of filtered Natural Sea Water
On 8/21/03
31 Lbs of Fiji Live rock
20 more lbs of Natures Ocean live sand
5 Lbs of an unnamed brand of live sand
A sally Lightfoot crab to take care of the dying stuff.
